August Assembly: Behavioral Tips for a Better Life

Details
Rachel Force, an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Elon, is bringing her expertise in brains to Sunday Assembly! She'll be sharing behavioral and emotional techniques to help us live better. So come out, join us, and learn!
Sunday Assembly is a secular community that celebrates life. We don't do supernatural, but we won't tell you you're wrong if you do. Our motto is "live better, help often, wonder more."
We meet on the second Sunday of every month. Each assembly includes songs, speakers, and other fun stuff. Singing along is encouraged! The assembly lasts for one hour, followed by snacks and time to chat and get to know each other. Children of all ages are welcome! We have a play area in the back of the room with supervised activities, partially blocked by sound barriers but still part of the main room.
We keep in touch between assemblies through our Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/sundayassemblychapelhill) page, on Twitter (https://twitter.com/SA_ChapelHill), and via our mailing list (http://eepurl.com/bhnz2v) (we send a message about 2 times a month). You can email directly with questions or feedback: info@sundayassemblychapelhill.org
Sunday Assembly Chapel Hill (http://www.sundayassemblychapelhill.com/) is a part of a global movement (https://www.sundayassembly.com/). We're completely volunteer-run and funded solely by donations.
