Sunday Assembly Detroit is a secular congregation that meets to hear great talks, sing songs and generally celebrate the wonder of life. It’s a service for anyone who wants to live better, help often, and wonder more.
Title: "Spiritual Experiences - Are They Real?"
Summary:
Spiritual experiences are a powerful and wonderful part of being human - but what do they mean? Do they prove one religious path is right over all the others? What does the evidence show? What happened during my spiritual experience?
This is a way to see how sacred and powerful our real world is, bringing meaning and purpose without any need for the supernatural - one more reality based idea that all of us can draw on for our own spiritualities.
