Let's go to NaNoCon! (The 2018 Nashville Nones Convention)
Details
• What we'll do
The Nashville Nones Convention (NaNoCon) is the premiere secular event in the Bible Belt. It's a fun, one-day extravaganza for those of us who, when asked what religion we prefer, select “none!” Whether you’re just questioning your beliefs or you’re happily religion-free, NaNoCon is an event for you -- friendly, affordable, and fun! This is NaNoCon's third year, and last year's Convention was SOLD OUT with over 450 participants! The brilliant Matt Dillahunty is back with his "Skepticism and Magic" show, and the schedule is packed with over 12 outstanding speakers, 15 engaging workshops, and best of all, lots of happy heathens just like you. • What to bring
Dinner will be the Freethinkers' Feast, a pizza and ice-cream party open to all participants! Suggested donation is $10 to cover costs, so bring cash or credit. If you are vegan (or have special dietary needs) you are welcome to bring your own dish; you'll even have the option to share potluck-style with other vegan participants! There will be sandwich combos available for lunch, but you're welcome to bring your own bag lunch as well. • Important to know
Tickets required, available for $15 at https://nashvillenones.com/tickets through February, $20 in March. Tickets sold out last year, so don't miss it! The schedule will feature workshops in the morning, lunch, TED Talk-style presentations in the afternoon, the keynote speech, the Freethinkers' Feast, and a free afterparty featuring music, comedians, a talent show, and much more... A Camp Quest day camp will be provided for children.
