Sunday Assembly Nashville is a secular congregation that celebrates life! We don't believe in the supernatural but won't tell you wrong if you do. We welcome all who welcome all! Our monthly event is designed to get us to laugh, sing a bit, learn something, and let our hair down.
For our November Assembly-
Frances Bacon said that the purpose of reading was not to contradict or to take for granted, but to weigh and consider. Join Sunday Assembly Nashville on November 10 at 10:30 a.m. at East Park Community Center on the month of our sixth anniversary. Our theme will be critical thinking, the art of how to think for ourselves. The speaker will be Dr. Molly Kerby, Associate Professor in the Department of Diversity and Community Studies at Western Kentucky University to give a talk entitled “I Think; Therefore, I am: The Importance of Thinking Critically.” Our host this month will be Don Thomason and celebratory music will be provided by the Unnamed Assembly Band. As always, there will be a potluck after Assembly, so be sure to bring a dish to this informative and celebratory Assembly and stay for the potluck.
