Join us June 8 with special guest Israel Bayer.
Everyone deserves a safe place to call home: Endurance and love during traumatic times.
Israel Bayer has been working in the street newspaper movement for more than a decade. Israel has been the Executive Director with Street Roots since 2007. He has worked for Real Change, a street newspaper in Seattle, Washington and for the North American Street Newspaper Association. Israel is also a photographer and poet. He loves sports, clothes that clash and highlighting stories from the wrong side of the tracks.

About Sunday Assembly Portland
Sunday Assembly Portland is part of a secular global movement of wonder and good. Many people worldwide seek community, positivity and compassion and are looking for non-religious alternatives to provide them. We meet to sing songs, listen to inspiring talks, and generally celebrate the wonder of life.
Between assemblies we have small groups that focus on a wide range of interests as well as volunteer projects in the Portland area. We strive to be radically inclusive, family-friendly, and supportive as we take full advantage of this one life we know we have.
If you would like to learn more about who we are and what we stand for, please read the Sunday Assembly global charter:
Sunday Assembly Portland is free and everyone is welcome!
