Hi, I'm Maria. I'm a mom of three and a web developer by profession.

What Maria G. is saying about this Meetup Group

I really like the Sunday Assembly because it is non-pretentious. If I lived closer to Boston I would start a book group smoup (small group) to feed my need for intellectual stimulation, but I doubt folks would want to come out to the 'burbs. Some of the song choices were definitely "power cheese" this time, but it's hard to pick good songs and I didn't help so I won't criticize. I really liked the band from last time so I hope for more live music in the future when there's a functioning elevator. Bob did a great job MCing, the poetry Cheryl chose was great, James' talk was terrific and Morgan did a great personal story. I definitely enjoyed the conversation afterward. Thanks for putting it on and I loved (loved, loved) having it at the Hub -- so easy to get to.
