Start time ( meeting time) 6 30 pm , Ending time around 11 pm

Meeting Point: SF Ferry building, to the left of the fare gates, GOLDEN GATE FERRY. this is behind the ferry building. Ferry to Sausalito!!

(Ferry dept. at 650pm arrives Sausalito 720pm)

you need to add to the waitlist and answer my 2 questions, otherwise I will not add you into the hike

this won't be a slow hike, we have to be across the GG Bridge by 9pm, that leaves us with about 90 min from the start of the hike.

I looked at the last gps data and we took 60 min to the bridge.

***If you are not up for a fast hike, do not sign up, *** the curfew for the GG Bridge for pedestrians is 9 pm

Ok, I hope everybody got the message about a speedy hike.

the idea for this hike is to do a evening crossing of the GG Bridge, while the moon is rising, full moon will be Monday. Moon rises around 530 and will be 78% full.

After crossing the bridge we go through Crissy Field, along the Marina, Fort Mason, Fishermens Wharf down to Embarcadero to catch BART (for those who arrive by Bart)

Important notes.

** Dress in layers, it may be windy / chilly across the bridge

** bring a headlamp / flashlight, (you may not need it, but just in case)

** some water and a snack

** breaks will be short and not many.

** you have to be able to keep up / or able to continue on your own / know where to catch a bus / trolley etc.

*Meeting point after we get off the Ferry

Once you get off the Ferry gangway, turn left we meet up at the benches there, please be ready to depart ASAP as soon as all are there,

There are restrooms on the ferry, nothing once we embark.

**you have to pay attention which way the group is going and stay close.

** Keeping track of all, will be very hard for me, since it will be dark and we go through some areas with high foot traffic,

** you should be ok with the idea that you have to continue on your own in case you get separated, *
