Still life can be done on any tabletop with any kind of lighting, some bits of white or silver card and makeshift or very cheap diffusers. It doesn't need to involve fruit or flowers. I'm quite partial to rusty junk, myself. :-)
You would need a camera with hotshoe to take an active part in this workshop but it would still be educational if you're thinking of upgrading your camera. DO NOT RSVP at this stage - this is a suggested event to find out who is interested in the subject. To express your interest, please comment below.
For food bloggers or anyone interested in taking better photos of food. Different lighting methods will be shown and/or discussed (depending on practicability in each location) and old versus new attitudes to food photography discussed.
This will be a regular workshop in varying locations.
Those who are interested, please note I will soon be closing this meetup group due to huge increases in meetup fees. With more than 50 members, I am now expected to pay almost £10 per month to post meetings here. I will be posting them instead on my own website (details to follow), which will allow me much more flexibility as well.
