Join us for a visit to the wonderful old Ankerwyke Yew, where we will have a 1½ hour guided walk and talk from the National Trust Warden and then enjoy some group meditations with the Angel of Trees and other nature angels (or free personal meditation time if you prefer).
Join a guided tour to discover the history of hidden Ankerwycke, from its 2,500-year-old yew to today's conservation activities.
As well as housing the National Trust's oldest tree, Ankerwycke hides a legally protected ancient monument and a former parkland/pleasure grounds. Find out more on this guided walk.
Please wear sturdy footwear; this walk takes place over ground that can be uneven and muddy. Not suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Please also check with me before bringing any dogs with you, as it is a protected site, dogs may be prohibited.
We're meeting at 1.45pm at the Ankerwycke site itself, which is the start time of the 1½ hour warden guided walk, we will send full details nearer the time. To find the Ankerwycke site: put Magna Carta Lane, Wraysbury, Staines, TW19 5AD into your sat nav. Fuller instructions were sent to those who booked before the date.
