*** Join us for FUN, FITNESS, and FRIENDSHIP. ***

This group would be of interest to anyone who likes to socialize and stay fit, year round, by walking and hiking outdoors. We are keen to meet new walkers. Please consider joining the Surrey Trekkers Volkssport Club Meetup group. Our club was formed in 1991 and our motto is "Fun, Fitness, and Friendship." We walk rain or shine all over Metro Vancouver and occasionally further afield. We enjoy morning walks every Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, and holiday. There's always a choice between a 10 km route and a shorter (usually 5 km) route.

At every walk, upon arriving at the start point, you will be required to register. You will be signing a liability waiver, as our club cannot accept responsibility for any injuries or other harms you might incur during the walk.

If you are looking for something to do that's enjoyable, healthful, and non-competitive, why not join us on one of our walks to see what it's like? Just identify yourself as a new walker when you arrive at the sign-in desk.

Please be hereby advised that photographs or video recordings of event activities may be taken and may be posted onto one or more of our electronic platforms (our website - http://www.surreytrekkers.com/ (http://surreytrekkers.com/) and Meetup). Should you not wish to be photographed or video-recorded, please advise the photographer accordingly. This is your right. Should you not inform the photographer, it will be understood that you have provided permission to be photographed and/or video-recorded. Thank you for your cooperation.
