About us
We welcome new walkers who enjoy socializing and staying fit by walking and hiking outdoors, all year-round. Please consider joining the Surrey Trekkers Volkssport Club Meetup group. We go for walks in all weather every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, and on holidays.
Our club cannot accept responsibility for any injuries or other harm you might incur during the walk, so before you participate in a walk, you will need to register and sign a one-time liability waiver.
Register between 9:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Walks begin at 10:00 a.m., unless otherwise indicated. A 10 km or a shorter (5 km) walk is always available.

DELTA - LADNER - Parks Walk - Joint walk with VVWC

Trail rating 1BWe will take a perimeter route that borders the scenic Fraser River Estuary. As you exit the park, proceed along Ferry Rd to the South Arm Marshes where a little bit of unexpected magic awaits you. This route also passes through Ernie Burnett Park & a rare gem of nature known only to locals so it has yet to be named. Truly, a “magical” walk!
Please Note: although numbers may appear low on this page, be assured you will be with club members who have not signed up here. Come Walk With Us, you will have lots of company.
*** Registration is from 9:30 am to 9:45 am. You MUST register by 9:45 am at the start point before commencing the walk. Walks begin promptly at 10:00 am. Please allow time to park and find our group. Look for us; we are wearing red. The first 5 walks are free. After that, you may choose to join our club. See our website for information on membership forms and walk fees. ***
Immediately following the walk, you may wish to join some of your fellow walkers for lunch at a nearby eatery.
