Is your home fit for climate change?

Last year a report from the Committee on Climate Change (CCC) ‘UK housing: Fit for the future?’ , which can be found here: https://www.theccc.org.uk/www.theccc.org.uk/publication/uk-housing-fit-for-the-future, the CCC warned that the UK’s legally-binding climate change targets will not be met without the near-complete elimination of greenhouse gas emissions from UK buildings.

In addition, efforts to adapt the UK’s housing stock to the impacts of the changing climate: for higher average temperatures, flooding and water scarcity, are also lagging far behind what is needed to keep us safe and comfortable.

What are Milton Keynes doing to meet these challenges - and what can you do to climate proof your home?
