June 4th Committee Member Elections

Jersey City, NJ
Post #: 2
I'm running for Hudson County Democratic Organization committee member in Ward B5, along with Richard Peterson. We are avid Fulop supporters and are working to make the Democratic Party accountable to the people of our district.

We are running on the "Fulop Democrats for Jersey City" line, which is a group of independent citizens seeking to take back the HCDO that has ineptly run our city for far too long. If you're a registered Democrat, please vote for Meesha Haddad AND Richard Peterson on June 4 (16C and 17C on the ballot).

Please check out for more information or to find your voting location for tomorrow's election.
Thank you!
Meesha Haddad

Team Fulop 2013:
Members of a political party’s Ward Committee, better known as committee people, are their party’s representatives in each voting district. Committee people serve as a point of contact between the voters in a district and elected officials and their political party. Committee people are considered party officers – not public officials or government employees. There can be two Democratic committee people and two Republican committee people elected in each voting division.

They are in touch with residents in their district and help with any issues where they can. They elect officers within the Jersey City Democratic Organization and the Hudson County Democratic Organization, who decide how money is spent within those organizations.
