This event is all about inspiration! We will be joined by 5 very different and very inspiring people who in different ways are looking to change the way we do things while having a positive impact on the world we live in. There will also be time to network and we will finish with a Q&A panel discussion with your questions answered.

To join this event please go to: https://ticketpass.events/uaeg

Here you will be able to donate your ticket fee! 50% goes to charity (of your choice!) and 50% to support the costs of keeping this MeetUp group (i.e. subscription fee to MeetUp.com and any direct costs the organisers have - please note organisers and speakers all give our time voluntarily to run these events! ). If you cannot pay, we still love to meet you, and there is an option to join for free.

Sarah Merrick, CEO and Founder of Ripple Energy, (www.rippleenergy.com).
Sarah founded Ripple Energy in 2017 because she wanted to make green energy ownership affordable for households nationwide - it should not be a luxury. Ripple Energy call themselves trail-blazers & future shapers! They are not an energy supplier; they partner with them. They are not a wind farm developer; they work with them. They are the people that bring everything together. You are the one who's changing the future.

Simon Ragoonanan, Founder Man vs Pink
Simon is a dad blogger sharing his experience of raising a girl outside the gender stereotypes of the pink aisle (manvspink.com)

Chris Baird, Shift8
Chris has cycled the length of South America for charity (giving up a great job to do so). With a relative living with dementia, he has now joined an early stage health tech company to work with award winning gamified dementia care and support.

Paula Owen - founder of Eco Action Games, changing the world through fun and games - not doom and gloom! (https://ecoactiongames.org.uk/globalgoalgames)
Paula has spent the last decades involved in education and behavioural change initiatives. Recently she created a suite of Global Goal themed games, to help individuals, companies and organisations understand the SDGs and how they could be applied as a framework in their lives and businesses.

Rodrigo Bautista, CEO of Ticketpass (https://ticketpass.org/)
Ticketpass was created to tackle inflated ticket prices on secondary platforms. Rodrigo's vision is to challenge this globally with a more ethical model. He previously worked at Adidas Mexico, Hiya Car, the UK's Airbnb of cars, and mentors fellow entrepreneurs and graduates looking to launch startups at Warwick University (where he studied a Masters degree).

Whether you are seeking some inspiration for your individual activity, a new initiative in your organisation or creating change in your community - we hope this event will leave you full of energy to make a difference and with many new contacts from our inspiring membership group. Hot and cold (non-alcoholic) drinks available!

Hope to see you there!
