Come along to our next meeting of Sutton Speakeasy in person. You’ll find a safe, friendly, and supportive environment to enable you to learn and to practise public speaking. Our meetings consist of members giving short prepared speeches, other members giving positive feedback in evaluations, and members and guests enjoying impromptu speaking.

There are opportunities to speak from your first meeting. But there is no pressure to speak, you only participate when you are ready. It’s okay to attend our meeting and just watch and listen – you’ll be surprised what you’ll learn.

We are a group dedicated to improving each other’s public speaking and leadership skills. Sutton Speakeasy is affiliated to Toastmasters International and we run our meetings to their educational guidelines so that we can all learn and grow. Our members range from new to experienced speakers and from the terrified to the unshakeable; we all learn from each other. You’ll find a member like you!

We meet in person every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 7:15pm for a 7:30pm start in Friends House Quakers Sutton. It is free to visit as a guest, and to join as a regular member, it is a great investment in your future. You will boost your confidence and meet like-minded people in your area.

There is a car park at the venue and street parking available, and buses or trains nearby.
