Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout all meetups. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

The Quick Version

Our meetups are dedicated to providing a harassment-free meetup experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of meetup participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any meetup venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media. Meetup participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from meetups without a refund at the discretion of the organizers.

The Less Quick Version

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

Sponsors are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, sponsors should not use sexualized images, activities, or other material. Staff (including volunteers) should not use sexualized clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise create a sexualized environment.

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the meetup organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from meetups with no refund.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a meetup organizer immediately.

Organizers will be happy to help participants contact security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the meetup. We value your attendance.

We expect participants to follow these rules at meetup and workshop venues and meetup-related social events.

Swedish Power BI Usergroup October Meetup

Regeringsgatan 59

It's finally time for the next meetup, and this one is IN PERSON! For the first time since the world basically ended back in March of 2020, we will get to meet in person in Stockholm again. This event will be an in-person event only, but we *will* figure out the new toys they have in the Reactor space to enable both remote speakers AND remote attendees via Teams. The next meetup in November will have all these things in place, rest assured.

The reason for this event running on a Monday instead of the customary Thursday is that I've been able to snag Erik Svensen, a Danish Power BI specialist and Microsoft MVP, as he's travelling through Stockholm. He'll be giving us one slide with five challenges by walking us through five real-world Power Query challenges he's faced the last couple of years.
There is bound to be something for everyone in here, so you do not want to miss it!

We'll meet up at 1900 at the Microsoft Reactor space at Regeringsgatan 59 and Erik will take to the stage at 1915. When he's done and exhausted the questions, I'll use the time that's left for news and general discussions about everything Power BI.

I can't wait to see you all again, it's been way, way too long.
