Details
• What we'll do
For this Meetup, the Swisscom Digital Lab teamed up with R-Ladies Lausanne to talk about Bayesian statistics with Elizaveta Semenova, statistician/epidemiologist at Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute. We will discuss Bayesian inference, compare it to the frequentist (classical) approach on a simple problem and learn how to formulate models in the probabilistic modeling language Stan.
