This week marks the first anniversary of Sydney Educational Technology Group. Can't believe it's already been a year since it all began. We have come a long way since the early days when it was just 4-5 members sitting around a pub table discussing the latest and greatest tech in education.

For the upcoming meetup we have 2 excellent guest speakers lined up.

1. The first talk is by Alan Duncan. Alan is the Director of Data Governance at UNSW. He will be talking about "The Future of Information Management & Data Governance in Education," covering:

• Six "must do" components for your Information Strategy

2. The second talk is by Pradeep Khanna. As Executive Director of ‘Integrating Australia with Asia’, Pradeep positions Australia strategically in Asian Services Marketplace. Pradeep will be talking about the Future of Higher Education & Skills Training in the Australasian Region - Massive open Online Courses (MOOCs) and Digitisation.

Both talks are not to be missed so make sure you mark your calendars and RSVP ASAP. We will also have 2 minute shoutouts after the talks for anyone wanting to announce any events, product launches or quick demos.
