Hi all~ a new line of Sunday events has arrived :)

For peeps who spent decades or hours here, this Sunday event is dedicated to our 20-30s age group who enjoy café vibe & great companies from East Asia (see the flags). We accommodate both introvert or extrovert - through sharing your cultural background, this small group allows you to share ideas, experiences or even questions with people with respect & decency.

Run-down (Need not to follow :P)

• 1st hour will be sharing your cultural background, introducing some key phrases from your mother tongue. Share similarities & fulfil your curiosity - So bring the most interesting terms/phrases with you.
• 2nd hour will aim for an causal, relax English speaking environment. Topics are up to you, you may share questions, topics, life experiences or MBTI~
• There and after….your time, it’s free flow :)

Remark*

• Our community is well-regarded to be a safe & inclusive group. Attendees are expected to treat ALL guests/peers with courtesy, respect and understand of their own cultural background. Sales pitch & pick-up activities are STRICTLY prohibited. ANY attendees with misconduct/anti-social behaviour (& made other guests feel uncomfortable) will be removed from the group without warning & report to the event platform for further action.

For first time/new members, we will kindly invite you contribute to our platform membership funds of 10 bucks - we appreciate your support and this will be one-off, meaning you may join as many of our future event as you wish FOR FREE in the future.

Sydney Social Explorers present...Our 1st EVER getaway daytrip
- To escape the same old weekend (including our cafe event lol)
- To explorer the NEWEST (Relaunch) Art Exhibits in NEWY
- To push your boundaries for a 1 DAY GETAWAY
- JUICE the most out of your Opal DAY CAP), YES, ONLY $9.65 for the whole day (+ your lunch, it’s ~$35 FOR THE WHOLE TRIP)

*Indicative Schedule/Bucket list
- 0818: Train departs from Central (SHARP DEPARTURE)
- 1100: Train arrives at Newcastle
- 1130: Arrive at Art Gallery (For the 1st time since 2022, Newcastle Art Gallery will reopen its door on 28 February 2026)
- 1330: Lunch (Derby St/Honeysuckle)
- 1445: Walk (Memorial Walk + Nobby & Newcastle Beach/Newcastle Museum + Nobby & Newcastle Beach + QT Rooftop)
- 1633: Tram departs from Queens Wharf (Or 1748 Departure)
- 1930: Train arrives at Central (Or 2030 Arrival)

• Optional: Dinner upon our return to Sydney Metropolitan Area

Cost and Venue:

• 1st time guests: $10 One Time Membership fee (Unlimited Events).
• Returning members: Free. Past attendees who have already paid can join again free of charge!!

**Note**:

• This is NOT an event for you to seek for date opportunities. Please be sensible, pay respect to yourself & the others. ANY inappropriate behaviour will be REMOVE from the group WITHOUT notice & reported to the platform for further action.
• RSVP is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL. And to be fair for all attendees & support the venue, (In improbable circumstances) you may be ask to purchase a beverage/food for your own enjoyment. Please comply.
