Sydney Social Explorers

Hi all~ a new line of Sunday events has arrived :)

For locals & friends from overseas, this Sunday event is dedicated to our 20-30s age group who enjoy café vibe & great companies. We accommodate both introvert or extrovert - through sharing your cultural background, this small group allows you to share ideas, experiences or even questions with people with respect & decency.

Run-down (Need not to follow :P)

• 1st hour will be sharing your cultural background, introducing some key phrases from your mother tongue. Share similarities & fulfil your curiosity - So bring the most interesting terms/phrases with you.
• 2nd hour will aim for an causal, relax English speaking environment. Topics are up to you, you may share questions, topics or even life experiences~
• There and after….your time, it’s free flow :)

• Our group is well regarded to be a safe & inclusive, our members are expected to treat ALL peers with respect and understand of their own cultures. Sales pitch & pick-up are strictly prohitbited. ANY misconduct/anti-social behaviour will be removed from the group without warning & reported to the platform for further action. Please reach out if there’re any issues. • Please be considerate to your peers as you RSVP & respect the effort of organisers (not just our group, but all events - we are speaking common sense/curiosity here). We understand some last minute withdrawals due to unexpected life circumstances, however please try your very best to avoid such exceptional situations occur.

For first time/new members, we will kindly invite you contribute to our platform membership funds of 10 bucks - we appreciate your support and this will be one-off, meaning you may join as many of our future event as you wish FOR FREE in the future.

🎅🎅🎅Hohohoho.....hear the jingle? We're 3 weeks away from X'mas

Thanks for supporting us over the past year. We would love to hold an 'end of the year/annual party' event featuring the festive Christmas season.

## The event itself is free, but to allow us to order/prepare food & beverages, we may ask for, but no more than $25 to cover fundamental expenses - You may give us some special requests. Any leftovers will be used for purchase of “Secret Santa 🎅” :)

Instead of our regular cafe/bar social events, or the outdoor hiking/gallery hopping session, THIS WILL BE SOMETHING WE'VE NEVER DONE BEFORE :)

So…What we know about this special event so far...
1) The event day (& roughly the time) - In Sydney of course
2) Group size: capped ~20 people (allow to bring a friend along...)
3) Christmas theme event with great people - Guarantee to be good
4) Outdoor (of course, indoor if it rains...)
5) Primarily for the guests in between 22-35 years old (+/-)

Note*- While locals are welcome to register, to ensure people can enjoy the season with great companies, Non-Sydneysiders/locals may have a higher priority to join.

• Festive Dinner: Share a meal at a local Mosman restaurant (6:30 PM)
• Magical Lights Walk: Explore 50+ beautifully decorated homes
• Photo Opportunities: Capture the region’s largest Santa, inflatables & light installations
• Themed Fun: Wear a Santa hat or festive attire — let’s spread cheer together!

### 📅 Schedule

7:15 PM – Meet at Mosman Council
7:30 PM- Begin lights walk
7:30–9:00 PM – Guided stroll through festive streets (approx. 6 km)

### 💰 Cost

• First-time guests: $10 AUD (supports group coordination)
• Returning members: FREE
• Additional costs: Dinner at restaurant after (Optional)
