Virtual Reality development in python

Details

An introduction to using python and Touch Designer (http://derivative.ca/) to code room-scale VR experience in Mod's "holodeck" (HTC Vive (https://www.htcvive.com/anz/) lab). VR opens up new possibilities for immersion and presence. Come see what all the fuss is all about and how python can help. Mod (http://modprods.com/) co-founder Michela Ledwidge hosts the session based on recent adventures in the Vive (https://medium.com/ghvr/one-month-in-the-vive-7a10a752dfb5#.1udx6xnwg) including the launch of VR Arcade (http://modprods.com/vrarcade).

Space strictly limited to 15.

Free non-commercial licenses for Touch Designer on Windows (and soon OSX) from http://derivative.ca (http://derivative.ca/)

How to get there (http://modprods.com/getting-here/)

Come along! We welcome all experience levels.
