About us
This group is for anyone interested in inclusive research, design and development practices. This includes accessible design and development, user research that involves people with disabilities in a holistic, integrated fashion as well as compliance with international standards such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
Through our meetup, we want to:
• Evangelise - increase awareness and understanding of accessibility and inclusive design
• Normalise - help everyone to build inclusive experiences so it's just 'normal'
• Simplify - communicate simply so that accessibility and inclusive design is easy to understand
• Support - bring people together so we can share, learn and support each other
If you would like to get involved or have any suggestions for our meetup, please contact the organising team.

Creating an Accessibility Community of Practice- A11y Talk Club by SWAID
·OnlineOnlineA11y Talk Club is back for April 2026 SWAID Meetup!
Here’s how it works:- Watch the selected talk ahead of time From Checkbox to Culture: Scaling Accessibility for 500+ Designers
- Come to the meetup ready to chat — we’ll recap the talk, unpack the ideas together, and explore how they apply to our own work.
- Walk away with practical insights you can use right away.
This month we’re digging into a big question: How do we actually measure progress in accessibility? The talk highlights how one team moved from scattered efforts to a structured, scalable accessibility practice.
Join the A11y Talk Club by SWAID LinkedIn Groups so you can keep the discussion going.
