Join us for an evening where we'll be discussing all things C++, Xmas edition

We are pleased to announce our December C++ Meetup, our final event of 2016.

We have two awesome speakers lined up for the evening!

Alex Radchenko, Optiver

Benchmarking C++ Applications

Performance is one of the primary reasons developers use C++ today. This talk will cover high-level performance analysis and benchmarking of a low latency C++ application.

I'll be talking about tracing, visualising and recognizing performance patterns and how to get an understanding of your application performance both in instrumented and production environments.

Alex Blekhman, Dolby Labs

Coroutines, or Back to the Future

C++ coroutines are one of the hottest topics in development community these days. Coroutines enable non-preemptive multitasking, which unlocks the power of asynchronous programming. The talk will give an overview of the current status of coroutines standardisation process, one of the available implementations, and comparison with similar features in other languages.

Thank you to Optiver for kindly offering to sponsor this event! There will also be tech prizes available on the night.

This is gearing up to be a special Xmas event and we will hopefully see you there.
