3S - Blockchain - keynotes by Symbion and Bitlab

This meetup is a collaboration between CBS Department of Digitalization, BitLab and Symbion. We have invited three blockchain experts to share their knowledge and deep insights about the blockchain technology. We aim to discuss the topic from 3 different perspectives: Scientists, Start-ups, and Students (3S).

We will introduce you to the overall blockchain landscape from cryptocurrency to smart contracts and cross boarder payments + make some deep dives.

MakerDAO is a decentralized autonomous organization based platform that contains the maker coin (MKR) which acts as a governance coin, and the DAI, which is a stable digital currency.

Nordic Blockchain Association is the largest Blockchain Community in Scandinavia and bring together students, developers, companies and other relevant stakeholders.

Juan Giraldo is exploring the use of Blockchain Technology (DLT) for Cross-Border Payments. His research examines the infrastructural and governing changes that may arise with the use of Blockchain, and how the implementation of the technology can drive innovation within the existing infrastructure.
