For December we are delighted to be running an evening devoted to Internet of Things (IoT), starting with a Q&A panel followed by a presentation on UK and EU Funding.

Adam has been designing embedded and wireless products for over 20 years, long before there was an Internet of Things. He has worked in both the UK and USA for companies such as Formula One Management, Panasonic and L3 Communications, and designed products including smart heating controls, connected medical devices, television cameras and wireless video, audio and data systems. Most recently he has been working on a wireless, wearable device, and an audio streaming system.
Before founding Ripcord Designs, Adam was responsible for setting up a new broadcast products business for L3 Communications, where he held the position of Director of Engineering.

15 fantastic years in Technology working with great people, systems and data, starting with Oracle Corp, Rail Europe (SNCF) before founding a Relations-Business management tools start-up. More recently Ashish founded Ardent focused on delivering top quality Data and Technology solutions to a wide range of clients ranging from Ericsson, GFK, Bell Labs, Astro to fast growing start-ups like IntentHQ, Dativa, TEBillion.
Our expertise in IoT is centered around data collection, quality, enrichment and presentation. We achieve this using our expertise in Mobile, Cloud and Web technologies.
- UK and EU Funding - Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN)
Simon Yarwood, Knowledge Transfer Manager specialising in ICT and Energy Harvesting, will be updating us on changes to UK Government funding grant and will also cover the current state of EU grant funding.
The KTN links new ideas and opportunities with expertise, markets and finance through a network of businesses, universities, funders and investors.
There are parking spaces on the premises and it's only 5 minutes walk from Stevenage Train Station. We will provide free pizza & beer on the night.
