We would love to have you join us for a run and a beer some Monday night (April-September) or Saturday afternoon (October-March) in the Greater Syracuse area! Hashing is open for everyone! There are no annual dues, just pay five bucks each time you come and your first time is free. Our runs are non-competitive and co-ed and your must be 21 to join in! It's all about the making exercise fun!
The group has to follow a course of flour marks to get to a beer stop along the course for a mini-happy hour. Different flour symbols are used to designate the “true trail” to the “B.N.” (Beer Near). At the end of the trail (usually 3-4 miles) we gather to drink some more beer (optional—water is available at all stops, you do not have to drink beer if you do not want to, or are in rehab again) and sing some silly songs.
We run on Mondays at 6 PM (April-September) or Saturdays at 2PM (October-March) at various spots around Syracuse. Check out our website (www.soh4.com) or the Discussion boards here on the Meetup site for the next locations.
Everyone welcome! Just show up. Got questions or want to Hare? Please go to www.soh4.com for more info.
Steaming Wood (and co-hare Male Slot) bring you the 4th anal Green Beer Day hash in Tipperary Hill, Syracuse. Its all things Irish, green, and St. Panties Day themed.
Get ready for: Green Beer, Green Flour, Beer in Green Cans, Steaming Wood's famous "Leprechaun Breakfast Shots", Green rice krispy treats, Green and Orange Food, Exclusive Steaming Wood Green Beer Day patch, walker/runner trail, a parade, bag pipes and drummers and dancers, kilts, and lots of drinking shenanigans! And then we on-after at San Miguel Mexican Restaurante....because obviously.
Meet for opening and closing circle in parking lot on corner of W. Fayette and Nelson St. (across from Paragon Supply). We will walk up to the parade at noon, and we are on out immediately after it finishes. Parking will be crazy, and if you try to arrive at noon, you might miss trail, so get there early.
Hash cash $7. I'll bring lots of ones for change, they may smell like vanilla and have glitter on them...
