With the summer upon us, why not take a dip in the world of AWS Serverless in this workshop!
In this workshop, you'll get some hands on experience with creating AWS Lambda Functions, hooking them up to API Gateway, and running your very own service about nothing.

- CloudFormation
- Route 53
- Certificate Manager
- RDS
- AWS Lambda
- API Gateway
Prerequisites:
- An AWS Account (free tier is fine)
- A domain name / access to DNS
- A laptop
- Preferably with Docker installed
- A language of choice, with your preferred IDE

We'll start with a brief overview of CloudFormation, what it is, how it works, and then dive right in by creating a stack which we will build upon until we've created a Serverless application.
About the Host:
Julian is a fan of Seinfeld, and a previous AWS employee. Having spent six years working at Amazon and with AWS, he's well equipped to guide you through the murky AWS waters, and give you some tips along the way.
