What we're about

TADHack Global will run across 30+ cities around the world. Locations will run on one of two weekends at the end of September. This meetup group is for TADHack London on the 30 Sept to 1 October at Idea London.

You do not need to be a coding expert to take part, TADHack is for everyone. Check out this weblog on what happens at a TADHack, http://blog.tadhack.com/2017/05/14/what-happens-at-a-tadhack/ .

To win prizes is simple: create hacks using the global sponsors’ resources. We also have some development themes this year to encourage hacks in particular topics, such as BOTs, machine learning, IoT, Enterprise Communications, edge computing, decentralized web, and open source.

TADHack Global London 2019

IDEA London

TADHack Global, http://tadhack.com/, is a hackathon that helps people learn about the latest Internet, IT, and Telecoms technologies; and use those technologies to solve problems that matter to them. You'll be in great company hacking along-side people in Johannesburg (likely 200 people will be hacking there), Belgrade, Berlin, Bucharest, Rotterdam, Chicago (likely close to 100), and Popayan (Colombia). We live stream from all locations, it's a great experience, and will make a difference in your life. You can read about all the things TADHack Global has achieved over the years here: http://blog.tadhack.com/2018/11/09/reviewing-5-years-of-tadhack/ (yes, that is Rob Pickering, who runs TADHack London, on the floor!) Our hacks have included programmable telecoms (voice, video, messaging), internet of things, cloud computing, robotics, machine learning, speech and face recognition, mobile payments, enterprise communications, decentralized web, blockchain, encryption, open source, and many other technologies. This year's sponsors are: Simwood (UK-based), Telesign, and VoIP Innovations. They cover phone ID, trust ratings, fraud protection, programmable communications / telecoms and lots more. You can check out their resources here: https://tadhack.com/2019/#devresources. Check out this weblog from Moe who took part in TADHack London last year and thought it was the best hackathon he attended of 2018: http://blog.tadhack.com/2019/03/05/why-tadhack-was-my-favourite-hack-in-2018/. Also a shout-out to Rob Pickering, who just founded Aplisay (https://aplisay.com) after selling IPCortex, and is running TADHack London again this year! Thank you Rob 😊
