Watching Stargate SG-1: Season 9
It's season 9 of Stargate SG-1! What Earth and the SGC have been fighting for for 8 years has finally come to pass: The goa'uld are done and their stranglehold on the galaxy has been broken for good. With no other significant foe to worry about, the original SG-1 team has fully disbanded to pursue other important goals. But when a new threat to the galaxy called the Ori comes to light, one Lt. Col. Cameron Mitchell, a former fighter pilot who flew in the battle over Antarctica, looks to reunite the team under his leadership. Can Cameron get the band back together again? Can the Ori, more powerful than the goa'uld ever was, ever be defeated? Let's find out and continue watching all 10 seasons of the great contemporary sci-fi series Stargate SG-1! Please contact Olivia (https://www.meetup.com/TC-SFFH/members/56555492/) for the location in the Stevens Square Neighborhood in Minneapolis.

What we're about

The Twin Cities Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Horror Meetup group (TC-SFFH) is for anyone who is interested in sharing their love of science fiction (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outline_of_science_fiction#Genres_of_science_fiction), fantasy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantasy) or horror (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horror_film) (or any mixture thereof) by watching classic or current movie or TV/DVD series, discussing books, or finding other ways of expressing their nerdiness.

Promotions offered to our Meetup group:

• Free advance screenings to see big-budget movies before they are released to the public.

• On the other end of the scale, one of our organizers is an investor in Hollywood indie films, and occasionally hands out free tickets to those comedy/action or horror movies as they are released.

So let’s get together and:

• watch the latest sci-fi, Marvel/DC extravaganza or scary movie from comfy theater recliners and

• discuss it afterwards during a meal at a nearby diner or pizza place

• watch weekly double-installments of the Stargate SG-1 series, The Tick, The Expanse, X-Files, The Invaders, Harry Potter, or Buffy.

• attend local sci-fi events or conventions

• compare the Tolkien books to their movie counterparts

• watch what needs to be watched.

Superheroes, anti-heroes and slithering (or is that Slytherin (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hogwarts#Slytherin)?) aliens rule!
