So, why are you interested in studying improv?

Wednesday night is one of the highlights of my week! I find teaching this class keeps me sharp for my performances, and also lets me meet great people. I really enjoy seeing people come into their own and learn to be fearless onstage!

Are there any aspects of improv or acting are you especially interested in?

I'm interested in it all, but especially story-telling, woven-narrative scenes, character work, and musicals.

What kind of improv experience have you have, if any?

I did speech team from grade school through university, and am a founding member of the Tokyo Comedy Store, which we started waaaaay back in 1994!

Are you interested in the Level 1 Foundation classes for beginners, or the Level 2 Scenic Improv for more experienced improvisors?

I really enjoy teaching both!

Originally from the US, I've lived in Tokyo since 1994. I'm a performer and director at the Tokyo Comedy Store and during the day I am a narrator and voice actor. You can see a few of the projects I've worked on on here: www.chriswellsnarrat
