What we're about

Do you love TED Talks? Do you wish you had someone to share that "Wow!" moment with after you watch one? What about participating in other community events with similar “WOW”! moments? The League of Women Voters of New Castle County (LWVNCC) hosts a variety of community events that encourages informed and active participation in government. One example is the TED Talk discussions, that are about important social issues, followed by informal discussions about them, and ways we can help... local groups who are working on the problems, and any related legislation that is before the Delaware General Assembly and needs our support. Other events include, Great Discussions, Candidates Forums, Hot Topic Lunches, and others. The Ted Talks and most of the events are free and open to the public. We'd love to see you there!

Hot Topic Lunch - Why Smart Justice for Delaware?

The public is invited to all LWVNCC Hot Topic meetings to become informed on a wide variety of topics. $15 paid at the time of the event covers buffet lunch, beverage, and tip.
