Founded in 2005, TGIS Toastmasters Club, Dubai is a non-profit club of like minded people who get together twice a month to improve Public Speaking and Leadership Skills. TGIS Toastmasters is part of the International Toastmasters organization promoting public speaking and leadership skills development.
We are a peer-to-peer group where experienced members and new arrivals mutually develop through prepared project speeches, constructive evaluations and ongoing mentoring, all within the globally recognised educational framework of Toastmasters International.
Public Speaking and Leadership Skills are more a part of everyday life than ever before in todays' interconnected world - from important work events to impromptu social media broadcasts. The way in which we present ourselves is a critical component of our personal and professional development
At TGIS you can practice your skills in a safe place - no matter what is your starting point and develop your public speaking, presentation and leadership skills in a safe and welcoming environment through practice, feedback and mentoring. You will be surprised how fast you'll learn new skills.
At each meeting we usually have 20-25 people. Couched around a core of speeches and evaluations, our meetings also include interactive speaking exercises that guests can join in, education sessions, vocabulary sessions and plenty of fun for all audience members.

Meeting takes place in the Auditorium of the Emarat Atrium Centre, Sheikh Zayed Road, every 2nd and 4th Saturday each month. Meetings start at 6.30 PM and end by 8.45/9.00 PM, with networking opportunities prior to the meeting, during the break and post meeting.
