Hey Storytellers & Story-listeners!
We meet monthly for an entertaining event with heart: storytelling.
It's a creative detour from the whizz and beep of our digital, urban lives. We come together as strangers, exchange stories, and somehow leave a bit more connected through our shared human experiences.
If you gotta story, we gotta stage! BUT, if you don't have a story - please come and enjoy listening.
You'll be inspired by the tales of ordinary Berliners going through extraordinary moments in their lives.
THE BEAR. true stories. told live.
Each bilingual evening consists of 8 randomly chosen stories in English and German. These amazing true personal stories are told live without notes. Each storyteller has the stage for 7 minutes of fame and glory!
Live music and lively audience interaction connects the evening led by the show host and Bear Dyane Neiman. Just for fun: Three teams of judges, choose the evening’s favorite story. Winners are invited for a Grand Slam every June.

Join us for an evening where the spotlight is on you, your neighbors, your city — all sharing true 5-minute stories around one universal theme: FOOD.Whether it’s the taste of your grandmother’s soup, a culinary disaster on a first date, or the midnight kebab that changed everything — we believe food connects us all in ways we never expect.
🎤 Hosted by the charismatic Veronica Louis, expect laughter, surprises, and a little bit of spice as she keeps the evening flowing with audience banter and irresistible charm.
🎹 Featuring live piano by the talented James Harper, who’ll be underscoring the night with warm melodies, dramatic flourishes, and just the right musical seasoning.5 minutes. No notes. Just you and the mic.

We suggest a donation of 15–20 € (more if you can, less if you can’t).
