We can get into the gym at 6pm to warm up and put the net up, and we'll start to play around 6:20. We have to take down the net at 8:45 and be completely out by 9pm.

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL (C+/B to BB) is further explained. This is not for beginners. This level means at the very least you can do the following:

- pass pretty well (at least 6/10 of your passes go to the intended target)

- understand how to play a 5-1 rotation and where to be on the court both offensively and defensively (or are eager to learn and study rotations/positions on your own)

- can serve and hit with good success (don't have to be a power server/hitter)

- stay out of the setter's way unless they call for help

- call yourself on doubles, lifts, touching the net, etc., and know the basic rules of the game

- aren't a danger to your fellow players (esp with net play, not going under the net or having foot cross the line)

We try to run a 5-1 rotation if we have enough players, but we've been short on setters lately, so we'll play setter is the middle front row player (everyone gets a chance to set). If you aren't sure what level you are, the host can help you figure that out. If you're a good player but maybe not quite at this level, you can still sign up 48 hours before this event (starting Tuesday at 6pm). You'll likely be on the waitlist, but you'll probably get on.

This event is limited to 13 players. If you RSVP'd but can't make it, please move yourself to the "not going" list as soon as you know. Life happens, so if you no-show once without moving yourself to the "not going" list, we'll understand. If you no-show twice, you won't be able to sign up again for this event. Tap "edit RSVP" to change your status. If you're on the waitlist: We've had people drop the day before and the day of, so please know that you might make the going list even if you're far down on the waitlist. Meetup should alert you, but definitely check back often.

Co-Ed indoor volleyball is open to all levels of play. We are responsible for setting up and taking down the net. It is expected that all participants will be warmed-up and ready to play by 6:15pm, if not, you may lose your spot. This event is limited to 13 players.

This event is open to all levels of play. If you are a beginner, recreational or just getting back into playing, this is the event for you.

If there is not a spot available to play when you go to sign up, you are encouraged to add your name to the waitlist. If a spot opens up on the court, you will be moved from the waitlist to the going list. Also, if there are enough interested players, we can look into playing on 2 courts instead of one court for the event.

Co-Ed indoor volleyball open to all ages and levels of play. We are responsible for setting up and taking down the net.

What to expect: an overall theme for the night, exercises to avoid injury, some conditioning, and fun games like synchronized serving, short court, K&Q of the court etc. Goal is to improve your game by having a night to get reps on skills which you can't really get during game play.

Warm up at 6:30. drills start at 6:45.

Open court from 8-8:30 for anyone who wants to practice a skill or play pick up.

This event is open to all levels of play. If you are a beginner, recreational or just getting back into playing, this is the event for you.

Please answer the signup question truthfully to help everyone (including yourself) enjoy a fun night of volleyball! You can bring your own team (but must send a note to the host first). Capping the event at 12 players for now, and hosts will decide what format to follow depending on how many are on the waitlist. So waitlist yourself even it appears full.

Format:
12 signups: 6 vs 6 (no libero)
13-14 signups: 6+L vs 6(+L)
15-18 signups: 3 team format (each set goes to 21 straight)

Hosts may move people from ‘waitlist’ to ‘going’ based on the positions needed on a first come first serve basis. Hosts may also move people from ‘going’ to ‘not going’ based on your vibe or actual play level. The number of attendees and format will be final at 3pm on the day of the event.

If you are new to the area or our group, welcome! For first timers, just get yourself on the waitlist even if full and I’ll get you in! We love meeting new people and have a great time!
