Please read : Reverse Coed Indoor volleyball open to HIGH INTERMEDIATE level of players.

Play on the women's net- men under 6ft may hit in front of the 10ft, men 6ft and over must hit behind the 10ft line. We set up and take down the net. Warm up at 5:50 play at 6. We must be out of the facility by 7:55 and out of the parking lot by 7:59. .

***Men can only block men! Great opportunity to improve your game for male setters and liberos and girl middles and pin hitters!

Ideal for experienced players who've played some high school, club, or college volleyball.

Players are expected to understand how to play a 5-1/6-2 rotation and where to be on the court.

If you are not sure what level you are, we can help. Reach out to us. Or come play on the intermediate or open court to get an idea where you fall.

If you are a low / middle intermediate player, you may sign up on the Tuesday before the event.

No-show policy: Please do your best to move yourself from the "going" to the "not going" list as soon as you know you can't make it. Drops after 12pm the day of are discouraged (we need to allow the next person time to get there). If you no-show once and don't remove your name from the "going" list, we'll understand (life happens). The next time you sign up for this event, you may get bumped to the back of the waitlist. If you no-show/don't remove your name a second time, you may not be able to sign up for this event again. If you're on the waitlist but know you won't be able to make it if you get bumped to the "going list", please remove yourself so the next person has a chance to join. Thank you!

We can get into the gym at 6pm to warm up and put the net up, and we'll start to play around 6:20. We have to take down the net at 8:50 and be completely out by 9pm.

HELPFUL INFO FOR NEW ATTENDEES: We don't honor Meetup Priority as far as jumping others on the waitlist to get onto the going list, so there's no need to pay for Priority. People on the waitlist get on in the order they signed up in. If you're new to our Cincy Volleyball ConNEXTion group and are doing the 2 week free trial but are having difficulty getting onto our "going list", please send a private message to the host via Meetup messages. Sometimes you have to turn on your messages in order to be able to send one. Lastly, on either the last or second to last Monday of each month around 6pm, I post all Thursday Meetup events for the next month. I write a public comment on our events in the middle and towards the end of the month indicating which Monday. Just makes it easier for signups.

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL (C+/B to BB) is further explained. This is not for beginners. This level means at the very least you can do the following:

- pass pretty well (at least 6/10 of your passes go to the intended target)

- understand how to play a 5-1 rotation and where to be on the court both offensively and defensively (or are eager to learn and study rotations/positions on your own)

- can serve and hit with good success (don't have to be a power server/hitter)

- stay out of the setter's way unless they call for help

- call yourself on doubles, lifts, touching the net, etc., and know the basic rules of the game

- aren't a danger to your fellow players (esp with net play, not going under the net or having foot cross the line)

We try to run a 5-1 rotation, but we've been short on setters lately, so we'll play setter is the middle front row player (everyone gets a chance to set). If you aren't sure what level you are, the host can help you figure that out. If you're a good player but maybe not quite at this level, you can still sign up 48 hours before this event (starting Tuesday at 5:30pm). You'll likely be on the waitlist, but you'll probably get on.

This event is limited to 13 players. If you RSVP'd but can't make it, please move yourself to the "not going" list as soon as you know. Life happens, so if you no-show once without moving yourself to the "not going" list, we'll understand. If you no-show twice, you won't be able to sign up again for this event. Tap "edit RSVP" to change your status. If you're on the waitlist: We've had people drop the day before and the day of, so please know that you might make the going list even if you're far down on the waitlist. Meetup should alert you, but definitely check back often.

Co-Ed indoor volleyball is open to all levels of play. If you are a beginner, recreational or just getting back into playing, this is the event for you.

We are responsible for setting up and taking down the net. We can get into the gym around 6:00 PM to warm up and put the net up. It is expected that all participants will be warmed up and ready to play by 6:15 PM, if not, you may lose your spot. We have to take down the net at 8:50 PM and be completely out of the gym by 8:55 PM.

This event is limited to 13 players. If there is not a spot available to play when you go to sign up, you are encouraged to add your name to the waitlist. If a spot opens up on the court, you will be moved from the waitlist to the going list.

Co-Ed indoor volleyball open to all ages and levels of play. We are responsible for setting up and taking down the net.

What to expect: an overall theme for the night, exercises to avoid injury, some conditioning, drills, and fun games like synchronized serving, short court, K&Q of the court etc. Goal is to improve your game by having a night to get reps on skills which you can't really get during game play.

Warm up at 6pm. Drills start 6;05PM.

Open court from 7:10-9PM for anyone who wants to play pick up afterward.
