Thursday Night Dance - Cha Cha week 2

This is week 2 (of 5) of the fun, some might even say cheeky, Cha Cha! We'll start with a review of the basics at 7:15, doors open at 7:00. Open dance time begins about 8:30 and the city wants us to end at 10:00. Your suggested donation of $8.00 includes bottled water, mints, treats, all that dancing, and great company too!

As a reminder, tis the season of cold and flu bugs; please stay home if you are at all ill, have been exposed to illness, or are waiting on covid test results. Some things are just better not shared :)

Thursday Night Dance is a fun way to meet people and learn to dance! Doors open at 7:00 for warm-up/practice time. The class is from 7:15 to 8:30 followed by open dancing.

Different dances are offered throughout the year including East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Rumba, Night Club 2 Step, Waltz, Cha Cha, and others. Our classes are taught as a progressive series, meaning each week builds on the previous. The first two weeks of a series are the best time for beginners to join as we review the previous week's new moves.

Lessons are generally taught in 4 -7 week sessions and include basic dance principles of frame, lead, follow, etc. This is a low pressure, fun group averaging 40 - 60 people. See you there!
