The Elgin Area Camera Club is a network of photography enthusiasts of all levels, formats and subjects.
Our goal is to have fun while helping one another become better photographers by sharing ideas, providing informative programs & demonstrations, hosting photographic outings, and stimulating improvement through interclub digital and print competitions.
Everyone, regardless of ability or equipment, is welcome at all our meetings and events (it's not the size of your lens that counts!).
So come check us out to socialize with fellow photographers, build new friendships, and have fun while learning to improve your photography.

Spend 6 days with experienced workshop hosts Keith French and Tony Reynes, exploring and capturing the prairie ruins of extreme Northern North Dakota. With over 200 photographic "targets" on their list, you will be sure to gather amazing images while learning techniques or basics about photography. The locations consist of barns, homesteads, one room school houses, churchs, post offices, general stores, train stops, and even a little bit of urban ruins at a one time federal insane asylum. Keith and Tony always have some surprises up their sleeves as well. It's all about learning, and having fun, while teaching camera basics if necessary and always the elusive art of composition.

Workshop fee includes lodging, ground transportation during the workshop, and instruction. The workshop is capped to only 10 people so the level of instruction is very high.
