Texas Outdoors Woman Network Austin

We are an active group of over 150 women who participate in various activities such as hiking, birding, kayaking, camping and more. Our mission is to provide all women the opportunity to learn and experience outdoor activities in natural surroundings through a safe and supportive environment.

Our membership is open to all women 18 years and older.

Our annual membership fee of $20 covers operating costs. The events are either free or you pay the provider of the activities directly. We offer a 30 day trial and we have annual dues of $20 which are paid through Meetup. The dues cover operating costs. The events are either free or you pay the provider of the activities directly.

Our meetings are open to all and they are on the 4th Tuesday of the month. More details are provided on the website https://townaustin.org/wp/.

Each member will be required to sign a liability waiver/emergency information at every event.

TOWN is an offshoot of the Texas Parks & Wildlife's Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) program. The Austin TOWN group was founded in 1997.
