Howdy! My name is Rachel Kellner, I am a Texas Game Warden stationed in Uvalde County. I have very much loved the Rockport chapter of TOWN as I have been an instructor at women in the wild event for the past decade. I am so excited to introduce your TOWN chapter to about our upcoming outreach event, Women who Wander, being held on and along the beautiful banks of The Frio River on March 29-31st, 2019. This operation outdoors event benefiting Gear up for Game Wardens and The Parks and Wildlife Foundation is located at Frio Country Resorts in Concan, Tx. This is our inaugural year and we are hoping to make this an annual event. This event is geared towards educating women in the outdoors through events such as shotguns, handgun safety, kayaking, fly fishing, archery and much more . These classes will instruct women attending from across the state in their chosen classes, along with a ton of fun! Please check out our website, and friend our Facebook page. We would love for you to share the word about this inaugural event to help get the word out. Please contact me or email our website for any questions.
