• Boulders and Brews

    Triangle Rock Club - Richmond

Let’s show up and climb at TRC Richmond. Learn what is involved in bouldering and how to do it safely. We'll have plenty of time for Q and A. This interactive clinic will be educational for new climbers and experienced ones alike. After we are done bouldering, we will be heading over to Ardent to grab a brew! It's located in the heart of Scott's Addition. They will also have a food truck on site for a little post climbing munchies. Your first visit to the gym with the meetup is free admission and gear rental, and subsequent visits with the meetup are $15 and include harness rental (outside of meetups, day pass rates of $17 apply and do not include rentals). Let's bring a little bit of Sweden to Richmond. On Saturday, April 13th, we'll be out on Belle Isle partnering in a "Plogging" event. What's Plogging you say? It combines picking up trash and jogging...can you think of anything more Scandinavian? Väsen's tent will be set up as a meeting spot at the entrance to the Belle Isle pedestrian bridge on Tredegar. They'll have everything you'll need to pick up trash as you jog along our cleanup route. It should take you less than an hour to do the whole route.
