You'll learn how to recover from stress and trauma naturally. TRE is based on a simple concept; that we have a natural/innate way of recovering from stress and trauma - if we don't suppress it. Wear loose clothing and bring a yoga mat (if you have one), or a blanket, as you will be lying down on the floor for about 20 minutes.     If you NEVER experience stress of any kind (you're always in a state of bliss), you don't need my class. For the rest of us, TRE is a natural way of releasing stress from trauma or day-to-day stress. TRE is based on a simple concept - that the human body has a natural innate way of recovering from stress & trauma, if we don't suppress it. TRE is a set of seven simple exercises that invokes the natural shaking/tremoring mechanism in the body that occurs when we are under stress. This natural shaking response is how the body was designed to come out of the fight/flight/freeze response and return to a calm/relaxed state. However, we have typically been socialized out of this. I will teach you how to re-awaken this innate ability. TRE can be taught in one class, you can then do it on your own. Most people are amazed that their body can activate this shaking response naturally. TRE was developed by trauma recovery expert Dr. David Berceli.
