The West Coast Invitational is Axis and Allies FIRST official international tournament. The tournament format is two to three person teams, grouped by city into a Canada VS USA showdown of epic proportions.
It will test the mettle and skill of Axis and Allies players across 3 Axis and allies games, and will represent west coast hubs such as Vancouver, Victoria, San Fransisco, Seattle (Possibly Portland and the Fraser Valley)
FREE accommodation is available - first come first serve. (4/5 bedrooms have been claimed - couches still available, other billeting options can also be arranged)
Vancouver as the host city will provide food, beverages, and trophy/prize. (Donations or contributions to the cause will of course be appreciated :) )
The current proposed schedule:
FRIDAY 4PM - as teams arrive they can start, either 1942se or 1941AE game.
SATURDAY AM- Global 1940 OOB + Bid - Winners from friday face off agains the other winners, the less fortunate also battle.
SATURDAY evening or on SUNDAY to 3pm - 1942SE or 1941AE games are played by cities that have not yet faced each other, or other possible grudge matches.
