We are a group of individuals looking for an alternative to the mainstream fitness programs. We have all practiced Yoga, Barre and Pilates but have found Tai Chi to be a wonderful supplement to our current workout regimes.
We have hired a very talented Tai Chi instructor that leads a semi private class on Monday nights. The class is small enough to get hands on instruction. We are all just beginners so there is no problem joining the class. We practice a low impact Wu technique and set it to Philippe Glass music....very relaxing and meditational. We rent a great space on West 72nd St. Limited to 8.
We have not been able to find a quality Tai Chi class uptown - so we took it upon ourselves to create one. It is not inexpensive, but definitely worth it!!
