THURSDAY SEARCH PARTY FOR CAROL SCHULTE

CONTINUING THE SEARCH FOR CAROL SCHULTE.

Check website before heading out, if weather threatens.

We'll start at the AF trailhead in Glencoe, walk to Sherman Beach and probably go off trail here and there. Bug spray, hiking boots and poles recommended. No real plan, we'll just continue searching.

EXPECT OFF TRAIL TIMES. You can stay on the trail, but that's been searched thoroughly. Might go up Al's Bluff trail. A butt slide hill on the way back down, if it's been raining.

We hit the trail promptly at 10:00. Arrive a little before that and be ready to go.

Please, bring water for your dog! There is a creek along much of the trail, we will be down there, looking under bridges. Sherman Beach is probably still under water.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

Use meetup mapping to get to the park. Basically, Hwy 109 to Old STate Road (there is a stoplight). After you turn onto Old STate, you will immediately turn right onto Washington (becomes Grand) and follow it.

ONCE INSIDE THE PARK, follow the road and park at the last parking lot before the mini RR tracks. There are bathrooms here.
