You're in luck! You get to do the exact same workout as I'm doing this week:)
It's also supposed to be much cooler this week than last week, which will be nice.
We'll start off with our warm up of 4 laps, and then make any onlookers jealous of how cool we are when we do some of our form drills.
Then the fun begins!
6 X 800 meter Repeats with 1:30 recovery between each.
It will be awesome.
Plus, there will be Free High Fives!
This is a solid workout that will help with both your endurance as well as your speed.
800 meter repeats are designed to increase your distance just slightly from last week (400 meters) which will build your endurance and strength.
The short recovery time maximizes your speed while giving you short beaks so that you can do MORE total distance in the work out than you could if you ran the workout straight through.
I'll have two Garmins to share for those who want help timing the Repeats and/or want to track their speed during the workout.
