Taipei.py 2020 三月聚會 (March Monthly Meeting)

😷 建議攜帶口罩與水瓶/杯 🍨(bring your mask/water cup/bottle)，我們會準備酒精請你清潔手並量額溫 🌡 (we will check your temperature and sanitise your hands)，若高於 38 °C 會請您離開以保護你我的安全(若為講師則會取消本次的特別主題分享)，有咳嗽症狀會請你選擇帶口罩或離開，為保持空氣流動，本次報名也縮減了名額；如屆時疫情狂漲也可能取消活動。

報名時開放時間為 Thursday, February 27, 2020 7:00 PM。請於活動頁面右方 RSVP: Yes；報名後如因故無法到場請儘量『提前更改報名狀態』為 RSVP: No 取消報名以利活動人數的評估。

因應場地的搬遷，預期是最後一次在 iCHEF 樓下的『屋脊』活動場地，近捷運台北小巨蛋站喔，之後可能會回到捷運忠孝復興站與大安站中間。

場地費用感謝有 iCHEF 贊助。每人另外收費新台幣 100 元，用於其它活動產生的費用，如不定時的食物與 meetup 使用費。

利用 Python 進行變數解釋與預測（Statistical Regression With Python）

摘要

我們手邊的變數，例如資料庫中的欄位、問卷中的問題等等，其實都可以利用一個模型來解釋其中的關係，甚至預測未來的值。這場演講會介紹相關分析（Correlation Analysis）、普通最小平方法（Ordinary Least Squares）、利用 R formula 在 Python 的實作建立模型，以及講解進階的議題例如共變異數類型（Covariance Types）、離群值（Outliers），還有更多的其他模型，最後也是最重要的：如何解釋正確地解釋模型結果。

同時，每個議題都會使用大量的 Python 範例程式來講解，用大家最熟悉的程式語言玩轉迴歸分析。

自從寫下人生第一支程式後，就難以忘懷以敘述為磚、邏輯為泥，堆砌出腦中藍圖的成就感，也熱愛分享自己所學，業餘時是 Python 課程講師，偶爾講點資料科學。也是數場國內外研討會的講者，包含臺灣的 PyCon、COSCUP、TEDxNTUST，以及在日本、新加坡、香港、韓國、馬來西亞等地的 PyCon。More: mosky.tw 。
