In the hustle and bustle of everyday life sometimes it's hard to find the time to get away, let alone all the time to plan and organize a trip. That's what TIOA is for. We have a list of trips available and all you have to do is find the time to join us. If there is a trip you want to do, then let me know and I will figure out the logistics and post it. If you are a beginner and don't feel comfortable, or don't have the proper gear this is the perfect way to Take It Outdoors in a safe, fun and friendly way. If you aren't a beginner and are looking for a challenge; we have those trips as well.
When you come out on a trip you will find that TIOA is a fun loving community from all walks of life. Come on out and join the fun!!

NOTE - A lot of planning goes into the trips we run. Please be considerate of all the members and the organizers of the group and do not be a "No Show". I know that sometimes issues spring up (family issues, medical, work, etc.) and that is completely understandable. In those cases please send a message saying you won't be able to make it. If you don't plan on attending, don't intend to mark it on your calendar or don't intend to make a best effort to come to the event please, please, please do not RSVP "yes" until you are ready.

Fall Foliage Paddle

https://takeitoutdoorsadventures.com/fall-foliage-paddle/The sun is getting lower, the days are getting cooler, and the colors are getting brighter. Join us for a voyage along the Schuylkill River to enjoy the highlights of cool weather and autumn hues.
The adventure starts at Take it Outdoors at 9:00 with a brief gathering and equipment check before shuttling up to Reeser’s Landing. Then it’s onto the river for 13 miles where we paddle along the edge of the largest unbroken forest in Southeast PA and return back to Take it Outdoors downriver.
Plan for a full day of fun and foliage. Bring plenty of water, layered clothing, and a packed lunch. Bring your favorite travel mug for hot cider, tea or cocoa provided by TIO at lunch.Cost: $45 per participant, +$30 for rentals
