Covid-19. From the 30th July groups of 30 can sort of get to together, but still in groups of 6. For now I will up the attendance to 18. Can I ask that you please bring hand sanitiser gel for when we exchange money, have to cross stiles or touch gates. Please keep two meters or 1 1/2 from each other with face covering. Please respect anyone without comment if you are asked to move away. We are bound to pass other people along the way, so we need to keep our distance from them, too.
In accordance with other tracking measures, should you become ill following a walk, you must please let me know so that I can inform the other members of the group.
Take a Hike has a relaxed approach to hiking, you'll find us a genial, friendly group where everyone is made to feel welcome. We enjoy walking and taking in points of interested in and around Hampshire outstanding natural beauty and its surrounding counties. We also do day trips and weekends away. We try to walk in all weather conditions wherever possible and where its safe to do so
Our intention is to organise walks for around 25 member's ( 6 or 12 during the Covid-19 pamdenic) mostly on Sundays suitable for those who are comfortable and physically fit to complete walks from 8 to 12 miles at a moderate pace. We normally stop for elevenses and later for picnic lunch which you bring yourselves.
We are open to all aged 18 or over. To our four legged friends, you are more than welcome on the walks as long as you are social with other dogs and are happy to go on a lead around live stock.
This is a non smoking group
All members must provide a recognisable picture of your face, without pets/mates or long distance pictures This is so that we can look out for you and welcome you at any events you attend. If you want anonymity then this group is not for you. If you came back more than once I might start remembering your name. But please don't be offended if I don't remember you because you've not been awhile.
