Talent Sprint for APG Asset-Management

APG-AM invites you to participate in the talent sprint: machine learning!

Are you a master’s student or a young professional that has a background in a quantitative field, is able to handle large sets of data and has a good knowledge of programming and machine learning methodologies? JOIN THE EVENT!

YOU CAN WIN 800 EURO'S!

The talent sprint is all about innovative thinking, learning together and developing creative models ( and getting to know APG AM). Teams will work together to create a model to forecast the inflation of next month. Solutions will be pitched and and assessed by an expert jury. The team with the best solution will win a prize of 800 euro's (200 for the runner up). Precise criteria for the challenge will be published during the introduction of the day.

The event will take place on the 9th of May, 14:30-20:00 in Amsterdam, Exact location will be shared after application.

Setup of the day:
14:30 PM: Introduction of APG AM, judges and challenge
14:55 PM: Dataset will be made available for participants
15:00 PM: Start of the challenge
18:00 PM: Deadline to submit solution. Pizza will be served and teams will have time to prepare a pitch of max 4 min.
18:30 PM: Pitches of solutions\methods
19:30 PM: Announcement of the winning team

IMPORTANT

Want to sign up? Form a team (2-4 people), or register on your own and pair up on the event itself.

Register by emailing your (and your team members) CV to talentsprint@apg.nl. Limited number of spots available, so after an initial screening process successful applicants will receive a confirmation email (with exact location details).

Deadline for registration is the 6th of May. Food and drinks are provided, as well as an inspiring workplace. Bring your laptop and creativity, and have fun!
