About Toastmasters
Looking to develop your public speaking and leadership skills? Ace that next job interview? Boost your career? Or simply connect with a diverse and supportive community? Toastmasters is here to help you achieve your goals. Join us this week and start growing in ways you never imagined!
Toastmasters International is the world leader in communication and leadership development, with more than 265,000 members across 13,900 clubs in 149 countries. Through regular meetings, members practice and improve their speaking and leadership skills in a collaborative, encouraging environment.
Each meeting follows a learn-by-doing format. There is no formal instructor. Instead, members support one another by giving constructive feedback, making the program uniquely effective.. This feedback process is a key part of the program’s success.
About Raleigh Talkmasters
Founded in 2005, Raleigh Talkmasters has proudly held President’s Distinguished Club status for 17 consecutive years. Our members are committed to personal growth, mutual support, and building lasting friendships.
We are a diverse group, representing all stages of life and professional experience. We value respect, encouragement, and a non-judgmental atmosphere where members can step outside their comfort zones and try new things. Beyond our weekly meetings, we also gather monthly on Saturdays for coffee and conversation, because learning is even better when it comes with community. Keep an eye on our events for more information.
What to Expect at a Raleigh Talkmasters Meeting
A typical meeting brings together 15 to 20 members and follows a structured agenda. Guests will have the chance to introduce themselves and share their impressions. You will also be invited to join Table Topics, a fun and engaging part of the meeting where participants practice impromptu speaking by answering on-the-spot questions.
Whether you are visiting for the first time or considering membership, you will find a welcoming environment where everyone is here to grow together.
Visiting Raleigh Talkmasters
Guests are always welcome. We meet every Thursday at 7:15 a.m. in a hybrid format. You can join us on Zoom or attend in person. For details contact our Club President, Mark Inge, at president-739097@toastmastersclubs.org for a Zoom link or directions to our in-person meeting location.
