Join us in exploring Florida Caverns State Park on Friday, July 11th from 10AM-12PM (Central Time Zone). There will be a guided tour of the caverns and the rest of the park is a great place to spend time after the tour - make a day of it!

Information regarding the tour (from the State Park website):
The Florida Caverns tour is considered moderate to severe. The tour includes stairways, ascending and descending slopes, slippery walkways, passageways with ceiling heights of only 4.5 feet and short sections as narrow is 2.5 feet in width. The total distance you’ll walk is approximately ¾ miles from your starting point at the Visitor Center. The weather inside the cavern is 65 degrees and humid, year around. It is an adventure, to be sure!
For your safety:
- Wear closed-toed shoes with sure grip soles.
- All children must be accompanied by an adult. Keep your children under close supervision at all times within the Cavern.
- NO backpacks, large purses or bulky totes. (Lockers are available in the Visitor Center.)
- NO strollers or infant back carriers.
- You may take pictures in the cave but… NO tripods or monopods are allowed.
