This meetup is meant to present RChain as a third-generation smart contract platform by showing a fun use-case, a Raspberry Pi enabled Coin Faucet that could be deployed in businesses, venues, and events.

7:00 to 7:15 - Doors Open
7:15 to 7:35 - Third Generation Blockchain & RChain with Patrick Maguire
An introduction to a revolutionary new blockchain that is solving the problems that have handicapped the 1st and 2nd gen blockchains. During this presentation, we will illustrate how each generation of tech is building on the previous ones, and then suggest where this may be heading next. You will learn how this community is growing and how you can participate before the RChain goes live in March 2019.
7:45 to 8:00 - P2P Coupon Economy - Loyalty Token Faucet with Chris Williams
Example of a system using RChain on a Raspberry Pi, to create custom cryptocurrencies, that it then drops onto phones that are in the area. This project is open source and there is a series of blog posts describing how it was built and how you can create your own. We will have some Raspberry Pi's for sale if anyone would like to do a quick setup after we conclude our meetup.
8:05 to 8:35 - Pocket Network: Tools for connecting to any blockchain
Building engaging, clever mobile apps can be very involved, and trying to manage your own blockchain infrastructure is always a significant technical problem. Pokt is building toolkits for every mobile app platform so developers can easily connect to and interact with any blockchain. Pokt is actively building connectors for RChain, available soon for testing.
Join us afterwards at Green Bench to network!
